[VIDEO] Ten Fold Engineering’s unfolding building prototype

TheB1M has showcased a video from Oxfordshire-based Ten Fold Engineering which details the company’s versatile, self-deploying, relocatable buildings.

The very first of its kind, the unfolding building prototype from Ten Fold Engineering allows the firm to relocate structures ranging from 64 sq m to 170 sq m in size.

The video shows the prototype of this, with the products having the unique selling point of not needing any special foundations other than firm ground.

Units can be used for a range of different purposes; from retail and commercial, to clinics and shelters.

Equipped with rigid insulation panels, the portable buildings are both comfortable and energy efficient.

The video shows how the buildings are transported and set up thanks to the latest technology.
